The anodized finish matches the original perfectly, and the fit is so snug that it feels like part of the keyboard was never taken apart. The frame’s rigidity gives the whole build a much more solid, premium feel, and I’m honestly impressed with how clean the edges are.
I was worried a replacement frame would feel cheaper than the original, but this one has the exact same solid, hefty feel when I snap it back on. It fits perfectly with no gaps and gives the whole board that clean, finished look again.
The machining on this frame is spotless—no sharp edges, and the matte finish looks way better in person than in the product photos. It snapped right onto the base without any wobble, and typing feels solid as a rock now.
