GMMK 2 Barebones Compact 65%

Hot-swappable sockets made my first build genuinely fun—I popped in some lubed linears and had it working in under an hour. The gasket mount gives it a soft, bouncy feel that I didn’t expect at this price, and the compact 65% leaves my mouse plenty of room.

The layout is perfect for my desk setup, and I love that it comes barebones so I could pick my own switches. The hot-swap sockets made swapping in my favorite tactiles a breeze, and it feels super sturdy once assembled.

The gasket mount really absorbs the clatter, so the board feels solid even when I bottom out hard. Swapping in my own switches took maybe ten minutes, and the compact layout keeps my mouse hand from stretching across the desk.
